This utility reads Super JX‑10 and MKS‑70 Vecoven v4.xx Bulk Dump files from your computer's hard drive, USB Stick or external storage device and displays all of the Patch and Tone names on screen. Click the "Choose File" button below to load a valid Super JX Vecoven v4.xx Bulk Dump *.SYX file. You may then copy the names from the screen and paste them into a text file or a spreadsheet. This can be useful for identifying specific sets to help organize your sound library
  • PREREQUISITES
    • JX-10 or MKS-70: Vecoven v4.xx PWM Firmware*
    • Javascript w/Web Browser (Usually turned on by default)
    • Bulk Dump File: Created using Super JX button sequence of;
      [WRITE] - [α-Dial ==> "MIDI BULK DUMP INTERNAL?"] - [ENTER] - [ENTER]
  • LEGEND
    • L = JX-10 Lower Tone  (Tone B for MKS-70)
    • U = JX-10 Upper Tone  (Tone A for MKS-70)
    • T#01 to T#50  = User Defined Tones  (RAM)
    • T#51 to T#100 = Preset Memory Tones (ROM)
  • VERIFIED WEB BROWSERS AND O/S
    • Safari / Firefox / Google Chrome / Opera / Edge
    • Windows** / Mac OS X / iOS / MX Linux / Ubuntu / Mint
  * Does not work with v3.xx Vecoven Firmware or Roland Factory Firmware
 ** Not compatible with Internet Explorer. It's a Microsoft issue... go figure

Javascript is turned on by default in most browsers. If needed, you can turn it on;

Type about:config in the URL bar and press Enter  ➤➤  Search for javascript.enabled  ➤➤  Set javascript.enabled to true
