Q: Who is llamamusic?
(on a tiny island right about here)
A: Keith / South Carolina, USA
I bought my first synthesizer in 1986 which was the Roland Alpha Juno-1. At the time, I was primarily an electric guitar player but after using the Alpha Juno-1, I became more and more interested in synthesizers and samplers. The llamamusic synth and sampler support resource has had a presence on the electronic airwaves since 1986. It was started with a dial-up BBS service (_S _L _O _W and only one online visitor at a time!) It switched over to using web page browsers on the Internet in 1996 (anyone remember MOSAIC and NETSCAPE?). Initially only a few synths were supported (MKS-50, Alpha Juno, SynthPlus, JX-10 and MKS-70). Over the years, llamamusic.com has morphed into a real Frankenstein and now supports the following synths, samplers and music gear;
S-50 / S-330 / S-550 / S-760 / SP-700 / D-10 / D-110 / U-110 / U-20 / U-220 / GR-1 / JV-880 / MKS-50 / Alpha Juno / JX-10 / MKS-70 / FB-01 / Eurorack
